Had phone screen with recruiter. Shortly after had a disasterous zoom call with hiring manager and his boss a VP I think. I get on the zoom meeting 5-6 minutes early, it says meeting host will let you in soon. As the time came, nobody came on. I started to panic and emailed the recruiter what was happening. The recruiter called me and I explained the zoom link didnt work. I was able to get on using my cellphone about 15 minutes later. I had back to back interviews 30 min each. The VP didnt appear upset or anything and was very nice. Our interview only lasted 15 minutes. I then met with the hiring manager, I felt the interview went very well. The next day I got a generic email saying I was no longer under consideration. Then the next day the recruiter calls me apologizing and saying that the interview went bad, but they wanted me to interview with the market director. I agreed and it was set up in a few days. The market director was nice as well, we had a good conversation. I emailed the recruiter the meeting went very well. Recruiter said she will get back to me in a few days. As you probably guessed it, yes I got GHOSTED. Pretty common in todays world to ghost candidates. I guess that's the new generation of recruiting. At least there is Glassdoor to expose them.
