Process started out fairly pleasant; I talked to a recruiter and was quickly scheduled for interviews with 3 team members from different departments I would have to be in contact with. They showed varying levels of interest/knowledge of the position. This is when things got frustrating. I was suddenly contacted by a different member of HR to set up an interview with the hiring manager, but once I sent my availability, I never heard back from her. After calling HR, I was informed she was on vacation, as was my original recruiter. After contacting the hiring manager the following week, I found out she too had been absent, and we set up an interview. At the conclusion of the call she told me, "if we are interested in making an offer, HR will reach out to set up a call with the CEO. Otherwise, you'll hear that there's been a delay." I received an email the following week stating the hiring manager was out of the office, causing a delay, and HR would know more the following week. It was over a month before I heard back, by which point I had already assumed I did not get the job. I received a form rejection letter and no personal followup whatsoever.
