It was extremely easy. I applied online after seeing a "now hiring" sign in my local CVS and got a call back about two weeks later. The store manager asked me very easy, minimal questions and was acting like I already got the job based on my prior retail experience and the fact that I was willing to greet every customer when they walked in (this is very important there) and acknowledge those in line when there is a long wait. She seemed to be focused on finding people that were very customer service oriented because she wanted their scores to go up for their district. After we were done she told me she was still interviewing others and that she would call me with the answer by the end of the week. I received a call when she said I would, and was offered the job. In the end I didn't take it because I was offered a job elsewhere with better hours and more pay.
