Phone interview was scheduled through email in April 2017, Manager asked about my resume and projects in the current company. He was very good and diligent in explaining the role and responsibility about the position. It lasted for about half an hour. 3 weeks later, they scheduled an on-site interview. It involved technical interviews by 6 people. The on-site interview lasted for about 5-6 hours. 1 week later, I received the offer.

Employee referral. HR called after a week. Undergone 5 rounds of interview within a span of 10 days. Offer letter got generated on the 14th day. Overall it was a very smooth process.

Recruiter reached out saying hiring director very impressed about my background and experience. First round scheduled and interviewed by the hiring director. It was short and sweet conversation as this role shares 99% of what my current role does. The interview went smoothly and was expecting for a fast turnaround. But Cadence HR/hiring director gave absolutely zero follow-ups despite multiple follow-up emails I sent. Will definitely beware of these kind situations. Can't believe such things happening in Candence, a well-respected company of my own.
