There was an initial phone interview with the company after I talked with a recruiter. The phone interview was no longer than 15 minutes or so and I was immediately invited in for an interview the following week. I spoke with the HR specialist who was very nice and personable. When I arrived, the recruiter came out to greet me right on time and she escorted me to the interview area on the 2nd level. What I didn't expect was this to be a group interview. Once we got to the conference room...surprise! 2 other people were there. I felt a bit intimidated and unprepared as it sounded like the interview would be 1x1 with her. There was also a miscommunication because I was told that I was being interviewed for the Marketing Specialist position rather than the Senior Marketing Specialist position. I'd say they asked a lot of the usual questions as well as more in-depth questions about current positions that would potentially relate to this position. When the HR manager said she'd walk me out, I assumed she'd walk me back to the lobby, but she just walked me over to the elevator and abruptly left. I left the interview with mixed feelings and was not selected for a second interview round.
