Had my first interview 4 months after my application, my second interview a month after that, and then a job offer a month later. I started the job 6 months after the application. A combination of a written calculation based question, written response question, and formal interview questions with a panel of two senior engineers.

I follow Caltrans safety protocols, including site-specific safety plans and traffic control standards outlined in the MUTCD. I coordinate with local agencies for encroachment permits and public notifications. I also ensure contractor compliance with Caltrans construction standards and verify QA/QC during inspections.
