A HR specialist contacted me by email and we scheduled a phone interview that tooks about 1 hour. We discussed 2 positions, mainly technical aspects and few behavioral questions. There was some contradiction between the job description posted and how the HR specialist described one of the positions.

I had a phone interview with a recruiter/HR and another phone interview with the direct manager one week later. The process was simple: the first phone call went over the job description and salary requirements. The second phone interview was more technical and in depth about the culture of the company. Unfortunately the hiring situation changed and Calyxt decided to not hire another scientist. Still, I really enjoyed both interviews and really came out respecting the direct manager.
