When applying there is already a bunch of very specific questions about college grades and others.
Then, in the interview process, first, there is an assesment part that consists of a written interview where you have to answer 30 questions asking about high school years (????), college and current job, as well as experience with compilers, packaging and open source. It took me like 3 hours to answer everything. In this part there is a psychometric test as well, which was easy but took like 1 hour. And finally, for this stage, I had to take a technical test that took another hour.
Second stage is a round of interviews. In this case were two interviews of an hour each about Linux fundamentals, packaging tools, kubernetes and containers. The interviewers were really nice and friendly, and it seemed that I gave them good answers and everything was going fine.
Two days after these interviews I receive a generic email saying they are not moving forward with me. As I spent so much time with this, at least they could give a minimal explanation of why I am not a fit for the role.
