Short process, screening, competency and group case study.
Aside from the screening, the entire process was a bit of a farce. My interviewer wasn't from the practice area that I had applied for. They read off a screen the entire time and did not make 'conversation', very stiff. Maybe their first interview. I answered every question confidently, but was probed continually for PM approach, I applied for a CM role. I talked about where CM sits with tactical project management and overlaps, but clearly the interviewer did not have much known in my area of expertise
The group case study was a car crash, the PMs were argumentative and wanted to work in silo. Asked to keep things simple, bit turns out not so... there was not enough time to add bells and whistles, or consistency. Thus, the feedback provided was general and contradictory... utter rubbish. I stepped up to realign the group, but penalised for the behaviour of others beyond my control as I was not PM. My contributions were also confused with others. The final added insult, I was asked to reapply for the same role. No thanks!
