Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Capital Group em jan. de 2007
Entrevista
Had more than a dozen interviews. CIO apparently had more than 50 interviews when hired. Very interested in determining whether you are a good fit for their unique culture: heavy emphasis on collaborative work environment. Asked for many details on online application including high school GPA. Not that the GPA mattered. They waited a week or so an then went back and verified to make sure I was truthful. Very concerned that you have the utmost integrity if you are to be hired.

Tell me why you think you will be successful in an environment like ours (highly collaborative/input driven) when the environment you are coming from is so different (highly aggressive/independent/autonomous)...
Day long interview process with multiple people on interview panel. It started at 10 am in the morning and went till 5 pm on the same day. In same cases they will call candidates for multiple days based on interviewer availability.

Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 6 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Capital Group (Londres, Inglaterra) em fev. de 2021
Entrevista
One HR interview, then 6-7 with future team members. All informal interviews conducted remotely at the time. More of a focus on my personality and interests than my experienced as I was an experienced hire previously known to the team.

Lots more questions about my personality than my experience
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 meses. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Capital Group (Los Angeles, CA).
Entrevista
I interviewed for two senior level roles and was convinced that they were ready to extend an offer in both cases. I found out later from an insider that both positions went to internal hires with much less experience and no history of performing the job functions of the positions they were seeking to fill. My source also shared that they often interview external candidates for executive positions after having already decided on an internal transfer or promotion. This is simply done to check a box. What an incredible waste of time!
