I applied online and got a call for a screening interview. Had to fill out a word doc employment application that basically took my resume and had to be re-entered in their home-grown format. (for an internet software company, this should have been my first clue) My second clue this wasn't a job for me - Screener didn't look at my employment application until mid-way through the interview even though I sent it to them several days in advance. Screener and a manager tag-teamed on the phone with typical questions. Got the vibe this was a small company with a tight-knit team of a select few who called the shots, and this was confirmed when the screener got frustrated at me when they read my employment application (during the interview - I could tell because they muted their phone line while I was talking) and saw my current salary...almost like I was supposed to know what salary range they had for the role before a screening call. Let's put it this way - 2 months later they are still looking to fill this role. Avoid this company.
