Entrevista
I had a very bad experience with Carnival. I applied through an internal referral in early May 2019 and the process lasted literally 3 months! First, a screening phone call with the recruiter to understand my background and interests in the firm, followed by an FP&A assignment, and then a phone call with the hiring manager and director. Very unprofessional conduct from all the stakeholders involved in the process starting from ignoring my emails to waiting long periods between one contact to the other. I got the impression they tried to earn time to find better candidates. They called 10 days after the interview with the hiring manager and said that a coordinator would reach out to schedule a final day on site which was pushed back because of the earnings call, vacation, and other excuses until it never happened. Last phone call with the director was literally a joke, her microphone worked poorly and I couldn't hear anything. I have no idea how they could make a decision based on that interview. If you promise a final round on-site, follow through! Don't let candidates waste their time waiting. Also, the pay they offer was 15-20% below the average for my education level. I'd shy away from applying to Carnival.

Entrevista
One phone interview with hr. Phone interview with hiring manager. Then in person interview with Sr. accountant, hiring manager and 2 directors all at separate times. All the people were really nice. Except one of the directors kept getting up to check their phone which was not only distracting while trying to answer their question but it was disrespectful. H.R also gives you a welcome folder with the onsite perks and insurance options and costs. They should definitely stop doing this and give this welcome packet after you get the job. It's a bit disppointing seeing the benefits when you dont end up getting the job.
