I submitted my resume and a thoughtful cover letter. The process included:
A phone screen with HR
A panel interview via video call with three team members
An in-person interview with my manager
A casual meet-up with the rest of the team over milkshakes at the brewpub next door
The job posting clearly stated the application review timeline. During the interview process, the hiring timeline and onboarding/training plans were transparently shared. I applied in early July, had my first phone screen in early August, and started working at Cascade in mid-September.
Questions were shared with me in advance, which helped me feel prepared and made the process feel thoughtful and respectful.

You are working on a snail mail appeal that needs to arrive at people’s houses in 4 weeks - you need to finish writing it, you need to have the mailing list pulled by our database coordinator, and you need to send it to the print company to print and mail. But, we have just received a big batch of donations in the mail from a prior appeal and they need to be entered and acknowledgements need to be sent out. Then, Alison asks you to help her create a report in salesforce and Laura asks if you can help mail out
a gift to 50 monthly donors. Can you talk us through how you would prioritize all of these tasks?
