      First step was an orientation with several other candidates. A general description of what the company does and what the job would be like. There was an opportunity to ask questions.

We understand the commitment it requires to participate in assessments, especially when balancing other personal and professional obligations. The use of assessments in our hiring process is designed to ensure a fair and objective evaluation of all candidates, allowing us to better understand the unique skills and potential each applicant brings to our team. We do realize, however, that the time investment can be significant, and we appreciate the commitment candidates are willing to make in this process. In order to mitigate potential concerns, we aim to be transparent about the requirement and time commitment of these assessments from the outset. We hope that this allows potential candidates to plan accordingly and to decide whether or not the opportunity aligns with their current availability and career goals. We would also like to reassure you that we continually review and refine our hiring processes based on candidate feedback.       It started out with a group interview where they went over benefits that apply to all new hires, and mentioned there would be 2 online assessments and then a technical interview. I dropped when I heard the terrible benefits (no 401k match, 10 days vacation, 6 sick days, bottom of the barrel health insurance)

We understand that employee benefits play a critical role in one's decision-making process when considering a new employment opportunity, and we're sorry to hear that our current offerings didn't meet your expectations. We'd like to clarify a few points and possibly dispel some misunderstandings about our benefits package. We're proud to offer our team members a comprehensive health insurance package through Anthem, which includes a wide network of providers and robust coverage. We also provide dental, vision, and life insurance through Guardian. These packages are aimed at ensuring our employees have the support they need to take care of their health and wellness. As a startup, we're constantly exploring opportunities to improve and expand our benefits package. While we do not currently offer a 401k match, we compensate for this with the potential for stock options, enabling our employees to share in the company's potential success. Our PTO policy, which includes 10 days of vacation and 6 sick days, is something we're reviewing as our company continues to grow and evolve. We value all feedback, as it helps us improve and adjust to the needs of our team.
