      Entrevista

One of the worst experiences I have had in my career. I went through the traditional 3 rounds of interviews and provided my portfolio. After the panel interview, I was asked to provide some sample work which I turned around very quickly. I was told it was the last step before an offer was "officially extended." Then I was asked to meet with one additional team member who couldn't attend the panel meeting. I began to stress that this was irregular and I needed things to wrap up since I was fielding other offers. After that meeting, HR had more questions and wanted me to take a personality test. I was told I would get good news the following morning. The next day no one showed up to the meeting they had set up. They then asked for a last-minute meeting at 4:30 pm to tell me that the process was on pause and they hoped I would give them until the end of the week. I said I would be proceeding with caution since this run around was making me question the leadership of the organization. That Friday I had a call with leadership to address my concerns and they expressed that they were still interested in moving forward and extended a verbal offer. Some of the comments were very gaslight-y. There was a sense that I was the one overreacting to their process and I was told I shouldn't accept the job if I didn't have trust in the leadership of the organization. Given the back and forth I had been through, trust was hard to come by. I was told the official offer paperwork would be sent over on Monday. Monday came and I got an email telling me that they were rescinding the offer. No reason was given except that my concerns about this being a fit for me were now shared by the organization. Again very gaslight-y, making it appear as if my apprehension at their lack of professionalism was indicative of my ability to do the job. Overall, the whole process was a 3 ring circus. If it takes 10 people to make a hiring decision, that is a HUGE red flag for the ability of the organization as a whole to get things done. I am disappointed with the waste of time the whole process was and how the team operated in bad faith by asking me to jump through numerous random hoops. If you interview prepare for some shenanigans and keep applying to other jobs, This process isn't reliable or trustworthy.
