Swift interview process. Turnaround from interview to offer for this position was faster than normal for Catholic Relief Services. Questions were basic; no surprises; one of which definitely involved the typical STAR (situation, task, action, result) - format - expectation for answers. In many cases, a question is asked about one's awareness of the "Integral Human Development" framework, which serves as the basis for CRS's approach to response and development. Note that generally little explanation was provided on the dismal realities on the generally poor quality of life in the highly segregated and unequal city of Baltimore. Unfortunately, in their defense, very little can prepare one for these apartheid-esque conditions and consequentially high-cost of living that serves as both a by-product and a mechanism for calcifying and perpetuating that segregation.
