Asked to interview after applying to position via college job board. Interview lasted several hours with 4 different interviewers. Asked some technical questions related to the position and reviewed resume. They read my cover letter thoroughly as well. They asked me some curveballs regarding RNA when I had no experience with RNA listed on my resume.

They start off with a phone screen interview and then you’ll have 3 other interviews with people on the team if they like you. Then they make their decision. It’s a very long process and could take a month or maybe more.

While the initial screening interview was pretty standard, they will not accept OPT work authorization for entry level roles (even though there is no need of sponsorship for 3 years). It reflected on their potential for growth or the lack of it.
