The interview process was very laid back and with friendly staff. They do not interview intensely because the place DESPERATELY needs employees. It was pretty much a guaranteed job if you walked in, completed the app and could pass a drug test. The application for the dock worker position is very lengthy and a very thick packet though. AND once you complete it, you have several more lengthy documents to completely fill out. Overall, the interview was a piece of cake and is nothing to fear at all. No resume, cover letter, and rarely any experience is required. I would advise to at least have some type of warehouse experience even if it is not the direct operation of specific pieces of machinery.

Fill out application, get an interview on the spot with a recruiter in the warehouse. They copy your license & SS card, and fax it all over to the recruiter center. After they discussed my background I listed, they asked me about my skills, etc. The recruiter sent me to the drug screen that same afternoon, after about an hour of talking with him. I took the test, and brought back the form for him. He said it would be 3 days or less and I could get approved. Pretty fast, process.
