First interview : 30 minutes describe your background and what you’re looking for in a job. They were friendly, explained the company’s history and told me what to expect as next steps.

The interview process had three parts, an initial phone call with one of the VPs, an at home technical assessment, and finally an on-site interview. The interview process was fairly pleasant, everyone I talked with was courteous and nice to talk with. But overall I had a negative experience because they did not communicate well. I got no feedback at all on the technical assessment, so I have no idea if I met their standards or how I could have improved. It would have been nice to receive feedback or even a confirmation they received my submission for the technical assessment. At the end of my interview, I was told I would hear back within the next week about an offer or a rejection. Three weeks later I still had not heard back so I reached out. Within two hours, I got a response telling me I had been rejected. So they knew that they didn't want to hire me, but weren't going to bother letting me know. It's one thing to ignore a cold application. It's another thing to ignore a candidate that had made it to the final round of interviewing, it felt very unprofessional and left a bad impression.
