Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. Fui entrevistado pela Cesium (Philadelphia, PA) em jan. de 2025
Entrevista
Lengthy interview process with many individual discussions, a take home project (not too hard, probably took around 3 hours to complete it, and the question itself was relatively straight forward).

Multiple rounds, got to the second round where we discussed some technical skills and background. No live coding, purely a discussion on resume and the job itself. It seemed more behavioral at the second round where the final round is most likely the technical portion.

I unfortunately wasted my time/energy on this company.
After completing a multi-hour project consisting of a code review and implementation of an automation framework, I was invited to travel to their PA office for a final interview. Throughout multiple interviews prior and during, the interviewers displayed positive feelings towards me with phrases that consisted of “when you’re here” or “you’ll enjoy.. when we fly you in for orientation week.” While most of the people I met seemed nice, the process is absurd and just does not make sense in the modern day for a tech company.
Some highlights:
- An outdated perspective on employment duration, with questions raised about my history of 2-3 year stints at previous companies.
- I had to waste a day of PTO to fly out. The hiring manager noted multiple times prior that if the company flies someone out, it is essentially a “done deal”.
- With the company wasting resources on flying all of their candidates to their office, it is no surprise that their salary would be sub-par.
At the end of my day interviewing in their office, I was told I would get an update by end of that week. I did not hear anything, so I had to inquire the following week only to get a nondescript email that the company decided not to move forward. I requested feedback as to what could have changed between expectations provided throughout my interview process, only to not receive a response.
I agree with the other person who posted about this interview process - the company is unprofessional, disrespectful about time, and generally not transparent.
Please do not waste time with this company.
