Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Chairish em jul. de 2022
Entrevista
Within a couple of days of submitting my resume I got an email for an initial chat with the recruiter. She was pleasant and took a good amount of time to explain the company trajectory and the role etc. A few days later I got an email about an interview with the hiring manager. At this point I had already spoken to/ received emails from three different people. The worst part of the entire experience was the video interview with the hiring manager. She was the director (I looked her up with her name as no one including herself had bothered to provide an info on who I'd be talking to, what to expect). She did not introduce herself, just said I'm the hiring manager and asked who else I had spoken to which was an odd question as it seemed like she had no idea who I was or how I had gotten in front of her. A good company would have better processes in place to ensure that the interviewer knows about the candidate, the conversations they've had until that point etc. Anyhoo... the hiring manager had a real mean/ snobbish girl vibe. Reminded me of the mean girl culture at rent the runway and I sort of decided this wasn't for me. I still very diligently answered her questions but she seemed hung up on one thing and didn't ask me anything that would ensure I'd be able to solve the problems and fulfill my role at Chairish. In the end I requested her to give me an answer either way and she said we'll get back to you in a couple of days but never got back to me and ghosted me. Just terrible. I was highly unimpressed by the manager's attitude, demeanor and interviewing skills. Had I been given an opportunity to speak more on my experience and skillset I would have convinced her how I'll absolutely kill it at Chairish because I was totally equipped and prepared to resolve all the things they need ed help with. I thought sharing this experience would hopefully be helpful for others who are planning to interview or have already been through a similar experience.
Interviewed with several levels of employees for this job. Most employees here lack any personality and seemed like they didn't know what they were looking for. Interviewers did not introduce themselves or even spoke to what they do at the company.
