Applied through Handshake, got an email from HR after 2 days asking for preferable timings for basic phone interview. Had a phone interview that lasts about 20 mins. HR wants to know whether my previous experience matches with their AutoCAD Electrical requirement or not. After 2 days, I got an email from the HR that they want me to come on-site for the interview. I had an on-site interview with a facility director, 2 maintenance managers and a HR. It went well. They asked me about my projects and gave some information about what type of work they are doing. They seems quite interested in me. At the end, one of the maintenance manager and HR gave me a tour to their plant facility and explained me everything. It was quite a nice experience. After 2 days, I got an email from the HR that they have selected another candidate. Still I am surprised and don’t know the reason. They have told me in interview that your qualifications are more advanced then we require now. But, I am not sure whether they reject any candidate due to over-qualifications or not.
