Very well-organized, professional, and straightforward interview experience. Recruiters were super responsive and provided context for each interview. The hiring team was friendly, approachable, and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me. I applied and received my invite within just a few days. Total interview process took about 4 weeks although my candidacy is still pending. - Phase 1: 30-min call with the recruiter. Focus on experience, skills, interest in CZI and the role. - Phase 2: 30-min call with hiring manager. Recap on experience and interest but greater focus on fitness for the role. Questions specific to my thought process and skillsets. - Phase 3: Full loop of 30-min Zoom interviews with 5 additional team members + hiring manager again. Loop took place over the course of a couple days. Entire team was warm, welcoming, and very conversational. Primarily behavioral interviews – the traditional “tell me about a time…” and “how would you handle…” sort of questions. No curveballs and no trick questions. What I appreciated most is that each interviewer gave me their full attention, which we all know can be hard to do via Zoom!
