      Ghosted. I had an initial call with a member of Talent, the call lasted all of 20 minutes where he basically asked me standard questions about my experience and didn't leave me room to ask any of him about C2 or their client. He said he'd update me by end of week, which he did not. I thought it's fine, people are busy – I waited until the end of the following week and still no response. I tried to call him to no avail and then sent a follow up message... and still ghosted. I actually messaged one of the C2 directors to ask for a basic update on my application, and still.... nothing. Terrible consideration for candidates' time and energy, and all-round disrespectful. Having gone through this experience I would obviously never now use them as a candidate or client and would advise others to be wary of them, too.

      Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Chapter 2 (United Kingdom).

      Entrevista

      The scheduling has been incredibly disorganized, and there have been frequent changes in the interview structure. Initially set for a panel interview with four individuals, two of them couldn't make it at the last minute. Consequently, I ended up having a conversation with someone I had spoken to just the week before. The agreed-upon job title in our initial call consistently differed from what was conveyed in subsequent scheduling emails, necessitating constant clarification. Additionally, promised briefings were consistently delayed until the eleventh hour. While these issues are somewhat tolerable and not absolute deal-breakers, the most surprising aspect was being ghosted post the panel interview. Despite reassurances during the interview about a swift process and scheduling the final step with two leaders who couldn't join earlier, almost four weeks have passed with complete silence. Being ignored after explicit promises is unprofessional, and it's especially concerning when it happens in the context of talent acquisition. In conclusion, such ghosting behavior in talent acquisition not only reflects poorly on the company's professionalism but also raises serious questions about its commitment to transparent and respectful communication with candidates.

      In addition to standard recruitment interview questions about metrics used, I found certain aspects of the process unprofessional. Specifically, I was asked to divulge insights into my personal relationships at my previous workplace, as well as details about confidential company-specific developments or setbacks.
