Entrevista
A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn. I had 30 min interview with the recruiter. Then next was a 45 min interview with the hiring manager in Austin. Most of questions was related to my Android experience as well as agile process. Then there was no feedback for 4 days. I sent a follow up email. Next step was a project challenge to be completed using MVVM architecture model with location services and unit testing. The project was a two day task. I submitted the task but didn't get any feedback for several days. I followed up and there was no reply. It was a complete waste of time doing the project. The hiring process couldn't be more unprofessional.
The interviewer displayed a lack of professionalism during both rounds of the interview. Despite my efforts to engage and provide thorough answers, it felt as though they weren’t truly listening to my responses. After what seemed like a rushed and disinterested conversation, the interviewer abruptly ended the call without providing any proper closure or indication of the next steps. It was a frustrating and disrespectful experience, as I had prepared extensively for the interview and expected a more professional and courteous process throughout the discussion.

Entrevista
There was a brief phone interview where I spoke to one individual about Android development related matters. It was concerning to hear that they still use Android Studio 2.3 in 2018 and have no strategy to upgrade. More concerning is the fact that they don't have a clearly defined Android stack or at least are unable to explain it in a sensible manner. A lot of the interview involved informal, high level discussion regarding view and resource best practices. Very little actual code was discussed. This does not sound like the place to go if you want to keep your skills sharp.
