Recruiter interview with followed by first round interview with data scientist. Then take home test. I did not get through to the next stage which would have been a final round with multiple other interviews. There was a no show from interviewer for first round and needed to a reschedule. This wasn't really a problem as scheduling errors do happen but I suspect reason given as "personal emergency" not to be truthful. After submitting take home test which was training an ML model I heard nothing back for around a week. After chasing up was told it wasn't good enough. This was surprising as I'm reasonably confident that the model would work well in the "real world". I'm open to there being different styles / approaches and also open to me missing something completely so asked for feedback on where things were lacking. No response. Overall, many little things showed a lack of respect for candidates which is not a good signal in general.
