I was initially contacted by an internal recruiter and went through a second-stage online interview followed by a third, face-to-face interview. When I was invited for the in-person interview, I had to spend £35 on travel and two hours getting to the client’s office. However, the interview felt more like an informal coffee chat about my background and experience.
The hiring manager gave me positive feedback, mentioning that my experience aligned well with the role. However, after a few weeks of no updates, I had to chase the internal recruiter multiple times via messages and emails. They ignored me for a while before eventually responding, saying they had chosen a different candidate.
I found the process quite unprofessional— Cheil should be more considerate of candidates’ time and effort.

Interviewers were kind, however I feel like there was not enough discussion regarding my previous experience and therefore I felt like it did not really matter.
