I initially applied for this position in early July. A recruiter reached out to me nearly two months later in September to schedule a phone screener. The screener was exactly what you'd expect. The recruiter asked me very basic questions about my interest in Chemonics, interest in the position itself, as well as a question regarding my prior project management experience. A few days afterwards, the recruiter emailed me inviting me to a panel interview over Teams with members of the business unit I had applied to. The panel consisted of three individuals - two managers and an associate. They provided a more in-depth background on the position and its basic responsibilities and each asked me a few professional background and scenario/situational questions. A few days after the panel interview, the recruiter asked me to provide three professional references for reference checks. (My references let me know the recruiter did end up reaching out to them.) After my references responded, I was invited to a one-on-one interview with a project director. This call was much more casual than the previous. The call itself lasted about 35 minutes, and she asked me maybe four questions at most, mainly about the technical areas I had an interest in. Later that afternoon, the recruiter called me to let me know the team wanted to extend me an offer.
