The interview process began with a phone screening conducted by HR, followed by a panel interview with three individuals several weeks later. There was approximately a three-week gap between the two stages. The recruiter and the interview panelists were kind, encouraging, and responsive throughout the interviews, which I appreciated. I was informed that I would receive an update on the next steps shortly, but I was ultimately left without any further communication. It's disappointing and disrespectful for candidates to undergo two rounds of interviews without receiving any follow-up. While candidates are expected to be prompt and communicative, companies often do not uphold the same standard. I have recruited and interviewed for positions in the past, so I understand the challenges of the process. However, I still made efforts to regularly communicate with candidates out of respect for their time and efforts. Too bad Chemonics doesn't do the same.
