dated, rigid expectations. first 2 rounds of interview was a deep dive 1:1 with hiring managers going all the way back to high school, GPA, ACT score, reasons for leaving each job you've ever had even 10 years ago. No chances to prove yourself outside of those metrics. Not even sure why I was asked to interview if they cared so much about being at each job for about 1 year. Unless you've been at the same company since high school and outperform all of your colleagues in every single role, I wish they'd save you the headache and getting hopes up. They don't care about the story or the journey or how competent you will be or even recommendations and referrals, they care about stuff on paper and waste your time. Sounds like a great opportunity and high performing team so if you fit the bill go for it. I even asked the interviewers if there were any gaps or concerns I would succeed and they said no you're great just the fact that you've hopped jobs (which is extremely common in sales)

Your stack ranks is the biggest thing they care about. Were you the #1 rep at every job and out of how many. They want you to be top rep on large teams

Much like everyone else here, I thought the interview process was extremely odd. They ask you ultra specific questions about things from high school that have absolutely no relevance to the role, and if you say you don't remember they keep pushing you until you give them an answer. You are looked at as a piece of data based on what you did as a teenager and college student. They care little about your professional experience except where you ranked vs everyone else. They have these "scorecards" based on how well you answer their ultra specific irrelevant questions. I made it all the way through and can honestly say it was the most off putting and odd interview process I've ever been a apart of. The recruiter wanted 4+ references and one from every job, even jobs i did 6+ years ago. If you've ever been laid off or had a bad sales month they'll disqualify you. Based on the interview process I am willing to bet the culture is toxic and ultra competitive, so i'm glad i got offers elsewhere as well. I'm assuming everyone who got hired here had to lie about stats because nobody is perfect top to bottom but you have to be to pass their process,

Interview process for AE is strange. I decided not to go through to the next interview even though they did pass me through because if the interview process is this strange, I can’t imagine working for them. They basically grilled me on irrelevant things like my high school experience and extra curriculars, but barely asked about my previous recent job experience that’s actually related to the role. I also didn’t like the attitude of the person interviewing me either.
