Very intense process for a lower paid role. Told to prepare for an in tray exercise and did lots of research beforehand, but the actual task turned out to be a writing assessment that lasted 1 hour. This was followed by a VERY formal interview which took the form more of a test of my technical knowledge than an interview. I wasn't asked any questions about myself or what I could bring to the role, I was simply quizzed on industry knowledge. Interviewers were polite but extremely stoic, no room for conversation or personality during the interview itself.
