After applying on Tuesday, I received an email requesting a Thursday "phone interview" that was essentially the recruiter telling me the hours and pay and setting up a face to face interview. I was needlessly nervous for both interviews, they were a breeze. The phone interviewer didn't call me at our scheduled time, and after waiting 20 minutes I sent an email and shortly thereafter received the 3 minute phone interview. The following Monday was my face to face interview, DURING which I was offered the job, and provided with an offer of employment via email. The face to face interview was the simplest thing ever. The recruiter again told me the hours they were hiring for which included 2 scheduled days off per week, not necessarily together or on the weekend, but the same every week, third shift (12-8:30, 1-9:30, 2-10:30, or 3-11:30, I would be assigned one of these shifts and had to be available for any of them). Then he gave me a mouth swab drug test which I presumably passed, although I don't know how, being a regular smoker. While the swab was in my mouth I took a one minute typing test (required minimum 35 wpm, easy) and a 20-minute, 15-question test on customer service and basic grammar and math skills (he encouraged me to use Google and the calculator, but didn't provide a calculator so I used the computer one). I was unable to complete all of the test questions in the time allotted and it automatically ended the test. A few minutes later, the recruiter came in, stared at my then completed drug test some before placing it back on the table, informed me I had given him "nothing to be concerned about," despite not having finished the test, and told me I would be emailed an offer of employment and an authorization for them to run a criminal background check, both of which I received before leaving the office. He advised me the "next class" was beginning a week or so from that day, and I said that would be fine. Come to find out, there is a new class of recruits, or "Chewtopians" EVERY week, this location is hiring CONSTANTLY. I quit partway into week 2 of the training for personal reasons but I intend to reapply.

Very unorganized and unprofessional. For the amount they’re severely underpaying people, they should be honored that anyone bothered to apply. One of the worst interview experiences I’ve ever had, even in this job market. Will do everything they can to lowball you.
