It was a phone screening that lasted 45 minutes, during which time the ill-informed recruiter could not provide me with any information about the job that was not already included in the vague job description. I was certain the agency was a bad fit when the recruiter casually mentioned - after demanding my salary history - that salary would not be discussed until the 3rd in person interview. The recruiter was haughty, adversarial, and not particularly bright. As the first representative of her organization to reach out to prospective employees, she was a failure. It was a huge waste of my time. She called me later to schedule an in person interview, but when she did not respond to my question as to who would be present, I passed and ignored her next three calls.
