Positives: -The interview was very structured -It started *almost* on time -Interviewers appeared to follow a consistent and fair protocol -Willing to answer questions honestly and candidly Negatives: -I was told I could take as much time as I needed for the written portion of the interview (which occurred first) so I didn't rush through it. Then went I went into the interview portion, they said I would only have about 20 minutes which seems extremely short for a position of this nature. -From that point on, I felt very rushed by the interviewers who were flying through the questions. There were about 15 questions and getting through all of them in 20 minutes seemed like a daunting task. -The interview was less of a conversation and more of a straight question/answer type interview. I felt like the questions revolved more around what would you do, rather than what have you done. That, and with the speed in which it was conducted, made me feel like I was not able to talk at all about my experience. -*All three* of the interviewers were distracted by their phones / Apple Watches at some point during the interview, which was extremely disappointing. You phone should not even be out when conducting an interview, let alone with the volume up, let alone checking it when you get a message! I even had to repeat my answers due to one of the interviewers checking their phone. -I did not sense a lot of warmth coming from the panel of interviewers, which was a bit of a red flag for a social worker.
