CPS held a career fair at Phoenix Military Academy concurrent with the substitute interviewing process. Hence, there was confusion about if those coming for the scheduled interviews had to wait in a massive line that had formed for a different purpose. There was more confusion about where to actually sign in for the substitute interviews, but not terrible. You sign in and take a seat on the bleachers. Your name will be called and you will be given the number of the table where your interviewer is located. Once you've signed in, the process is pretty quick and streamlined. You go to the table where your interview will take place and that's it.

Easy process, friendly interviewer. You get a chance to see the city on a different light. Lots of educators doing their best with the resources they have. I've been all over the city, schools are nice and you get to work with some amazing kids

Bad, cold, and distant interviewer, she was rude, honestly. Told us it was a professional interview, but the interviewer wasn't even showing herself on Zoom camera, literally just her forehead.

The interview was scheduled a few weeks in advance, but I heard back the next day. Only a quick 15 minute video call, and the interviewer was on time, professional, and friendly.
