Had one WeChat voice call with the publications manager. Was told I would have to wait possibly a couple of weeks to speak to the director as they were out of the country, but received an offer before that happened.

Went smoothly, was referred to by another colleague. The whole interview was mainly them introducing their work. Asked me about my research and my view on some current Chinese political incidents.
