      Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela ChowNow em abr. de 2022

      Entrevista

      First step was a phone interview with HR. The interviewer was bubbly and fun to talk to. She offered many resources and assured me my conversation with the hiring manager would go well. When I tried to reschedule for a different day and time, she never answered me. I emailed her twice in the course of a week and never heard back. I went through with my phone interview with the direct manager despite a scheduling difficulty. It was an awkward conversation, and I felt like he only cared about the precise workflows I didn't have experience building. I felt that his assessment of me was judgmental and shortsighted. Many candidates secure new jobs expecting to learn new skills. That's actually the reason I was looking for a new opportunity, because I have outgrown my current position. When he said the HR rep would be in touch with me about next steps, including a case study project, I lost hope that this would turn into a viable prospect for me, since I assumed the HR rep had lost my email or was simply unavailable. I did not hear back from the company for over a week, at which point I was informed by the HR rep via email that they'd chosen another candidate who was further along in the process than me.
