An agency approached me for an interview, and I had a pre-screening call with a recruiter who asked me technical questions. That was the first red flag: he seemed to be writing my answers down to compare them against some "correct" version, except the questions didn't have correct answers to begin with. He said he'd get back to me the following Monday. That Monday came and went with no contact. I also reached out to the agent who originally approached me and got no response either. Setting aside the fact that a non-technical person was screening a senior candidate on technical topics, they couldn't even be bothered to say they were moving forward with other people. Unprofessional and a waste of time.
