I got two phone screen (with camera on) back-to-back, each elapsed 1hr. The interview were mainly about past research experience and practical statistic concepts. Interviewers are conversational, willing to clarify questions and provide hints.

2. Bias and variance trade-off in random forest.
3. Linear regression closed-form solution (w/ and w/o L2 regularization).

After the initial recruiter call, I moved on to a 45-minute virtual interview. The session was a mix of LeetCode-style algorithmic problems, along with some probability and statistics questions. The coding portion wasn't too difficult—I'd say it was around the Medium level.
