      Entrevista

3-stage interview. 1st with Hiring Manager over CV and general stuff. 2nd with the team on CV and position specifics. 3rd with same team, presenting a case study The interviews were easy, with softball questions and not very demanding of industry knowledge. My negativity is towards the process. They told me they needed a person ASAP, then took 2+ months for the whole process. The last interview demanded a lot of work, with big datasets which had to be distilled in a 5 minute presentation. The interview was supposed to be 60 minutes and lasted 20, while after my presentation they did not ask me questions on that, but other topics, which were very specific and not very relevant to the info and tasks I was given. After the last interview, I waited 20 days, being told they had a few more people to interview. They gave me perfect feedback, I did nothing wrong, only someone else provided a few more insights than me. Very disappointed because I spent a lot of time and effort for this and I was not assessed properly, as I had a whole page of insights, which they didn't even want to discuss. People were good, interviews were OK, but the process, waiting and supposed prolonged interviews and feedback were awful giving me a vibe that they did not want to do the final interview or they had already decided.

      Entrevista

I found the interview process for this junior-level role to be quite intense. It began with an introductory call with a Talent Acquisition person, which was straightforward. However, the next stage involved a task that I had to complete within an hour. I was sent two articles on a cancer product, each around 3-4 pages long, and had to analyse and summarise them into an article within the hour. While I managed to get it done, the time frame felt tight given the amount of reading and analysis required. The final interview was a one-hour session for which I was given three exercises and a case study to prepare a week in advance. These tasks required me to analyse treatment algorithms and diagnostic behaviours across three different countries, create a SWOT analysis, identify the best patient population for a Phase 3 trial, and present the pros and cons for each patient population in the exercise. I then had to summarise my findings in a PowerPoint presentation. After that, there was a 40-minute Q&A, which I found quite demanding. The questions covered oncology (understandable for the role) but also delved deeply into prescription behavior and commercial aspects. It seems like they were more focused on how much work they could get out of me in the shortest amount of time possible rather than actually valuing me as a prospective employee, which is definitely a red flag. I also feel that for the salary range they offer, the expectations and intensity of the process were too high, especially compared to other companies and interview processes I’ve experienced. While I understand the need for thoroughness, the intensity seemed disproportionate to the level of the role.
