Candidatei-me por meio de uma agência de recrutamento. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Citi (New York, NY) em fev. de 2009
Entrevista
Very informal
Not structured
Focused on personality rather than competency
Slow follow up
At times unresponsive
Friendly
Could have kept the candidate more up to date with progress
Very long process with big gaps between stages
Meeting with 9 interviewers seemed excessive
Some interviewers were add at short notice and seemed unprepared or not sure why they where interviewing or for what position

What has been the biggest challenge in your current or past employments?
Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Citi em nov. de 2022
Entrevista
7 mins into the interview the hiring manager told me that she was looking for someone with banking experience because she ‘does not have time to babysit anyone’. Blamed it on HR for not screening properly. For a job description that calls for professionalism, this was deeply unprofessional behavior.
It was a sham-- they already had an internal person they wanted and were just going through the motions because they needed to show they vetted lots of people. Citi has an internal mobility "process" that is a joke-- its a policy on paper-- they really don't care about the integrity of the process or finding the best person for the role (particularly true for female candidates)
