Interviewed by an HR recruiter with no plant experience who kept describing the lower level roles to me as though that was what I applied for. She then asked me what I was in consideration for? And when I clarified that I have all management experience, the interview seemed to take a turn where I wasn’t being taken seriously. After being told I would be background checked preemptively (a positive sign of a job offer) I was then outright rejected two days later. I have expansive horticulture experience that I felt was not being taken into consideration while being interviewed by someone who didn’t work on the ground.
I was told they were moving forward with other candidates, but if I wanted to consider the lower level positions that they would be more than happy to consider me. So I can work at leadership ethic for low level pay in Boston? Weeks later, the jobs are still up. So disappointed in this process. Be wary of this company and who they have recruiting you.
