We appreciate the feedback from this candidate, but there are a number of errors in his/her response. The first is that we don't have an office in NY. It is not possible for this person to have interviewed on-site with us in New York. The second is a mention of being an executive assistant. This role, in no way, would have had responsibilities similar to an executive assistant. We already employ someone in this capacity. Finally, this role was a Jr. position, but the salary range was $48 - $60k per year, based on experience, not the $50k they mention. If this person had made it through the initial 15-minute phone screen, they would have been made aware of the salary requirements and would have explicitly agreed to be OK with them. We always make a best effort to be honest and transparent about our expectations. While it's unfortunate this candidate didn't have an ideal process, we understand that not everyone is a good fit for every position and wish them the best in their job search.
