Unfortunately, even after confirming a green starting date and accepting their offer, the CEO did not follow through and continued to delay. As a contractor, I understand that delays can happen, but the communication was very poor. I was informed only one day before the planned start date that it would be pushed back, and then the communication stopped altogether. There are families whose livelihoods depend on these commitments. My advice is to maintain consistent communication and avoid waiting until the day before—or the day of—the kickoff to share critical updates.
