Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela Claim Academy (Saint Louis, MO) em mar. de 2023
Entrevista
It was a relatively calm and insightful interview experience. The focus primarily revolved around assessing my proficiency in comprehending Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and the fundamental principles governing the software development process. Additionally, there was a brief exploration of my knowledge in DevOps, contributing to a well-rounded evaluation.

What is a CI/CD pipeline?
I had the opportunity to meet many team members before starting as different people interviewed me before moving onto the final interview. I had the chance to ask them questions too which gave me a good feel for the overall culture and a sneak peek at who I would be working with.

I wanted to add more information about my interview with the Claim Academy that I didn't get to add during our last phone conversation. I was driving when I last spoke with you and didn't include enough detail.
The hiring manager of Claim Academy came to get me 15 minutes late into the scheduled interview time. He also insulted my intelligence and skill-set by saying to me that I don't have the competencies that he is looking for in a job candidate for the position. I'm sure he received and reviewed my resume before the job interview, in which he asked you to set the interview up. I think he was upset that I said it was a bad fit. He also proceeded to give me "free advice" and suggested that I take my resume to other start-ups on Locust. He had a very condescending tone and nature about himself.
Honestly, I believe he was trying to get "free consulting" from me and didn't intend to hire me.
I've been a vocational, career and higher education recruiter for 7 years. I know what is a bad fit and this organization responded to my concern of a "bad fit" in a disrespectful, condescending and unprofessional tone. There must've been something about me that they like to ask my recruiter to set up an interview. I guess the CEO thought he was hurting my feelings and wanted me to argue with him. I know my worth and professionalism is a key skill you must uphold.
Please understand that I NEVER heard of this company before my recruiter contacted me. The CEO acts like he is BILL GATES or Mark Zuckerberg. He is extremely rude and wasted my time. I tried to bow out gracefully and tell him that it was a bad fit but he was salty and responded rudely. He needs to pour a cup of CLASS and take a seat. Your organization will not grow profoundly if you treat workforce candidates with such disdain.
