Apply online through CCSD. The application is lengthy and not the easiest to navigate. Not much communication from district. Communication I did have though, the staff was very friendly. Schools will reach out if they are interested. Got 7 interviews within a month to be a teacher. Most schools are flexible, and will work with you if you are out of state, which I am. They will either hold phone interviews or Skype. One school wouldn't at all, and before they wanted an interview they wanted me to drive to Las Vegas to teach a random class of students as a mock lesson. Some schools require that you need to either go teach a class for a day or video tape yourself teaching. The school I got hired at didn't do that, and I just had a phone interview, and found out within 2 days. Once you get hired, the district and the school is very helpful with getting you cleared.
