I recently went through a recruitment process with the Auckland-based ClearPoint, and it was an incredibly negative experience. From start to finish, the lousy communication and lack of updates left me feeling frustrated and disheartened. After investing my time and effort into completing a technical task as part of the application process, I expected some form of acknowledgment or feedback. However, ClearPoint completely disregards basic professional courtesy by not bothering to return to me with any updates whatsoever. It felt as if my efforts were utterly wasted. The lack of communication throughout the recruitment process was genuinely astounding. Emails went unanswered, leaving me in a state of uncertainty and confusion. It is deeply disappointing to be left hanging without closure or update, especially after investing considerable time and energy. Such a negligent approach to candidate engagement reflects poorly on ClearPoint as an employer. Clear and timely communication is a fundamental aspect of any good recruitment process, and ClearPoint's failure in this regard is simply unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering a position at ClearPoint to be aware of their appalling communication practices. Seeing a company treat potential candidates with such disrespect and a lack of professionalism is regrettable.
