I was directly contacted by a recruiter to set up an initial 15 minute phone conversation for a role that I applied for. I replied in less than an hour and offered availability and my phone number per her request, and never received a response. I sent two follow up emails at one week and two weeks out from her outreach, gently asking if she was still interested in speaking, and still did not receive a reply. What was the point? If you aren’t interested anymore, for any reason, have the respect and basic decency to let the candidate know. It’s one thing to never hear back from an application, but this is honestly a comical level of unprofessionalism. Do better.

Great and personable interview process. Not overly formal, answered all questions and gave an appropriate amount of time each round to get to know the role and team. Multiple channels, virtual and in-person; three rounds.

online zoom call with four interviewers, they had prepared a few questions. They really wanted experience with Slicer on EPIC. It also seemed like they wanted someone who knew the backend and networks in Cleveland Clinic already.

The first round was great! The recruiter called on time, and it lasted about 30 minutes. I was given a time line of what would happen next and if I moved forward, who I would be meeting with.
