I went into this process very excited, but saw all the negative reviews about the leadership team, lack of diversity, toxicity, micromanagement, and inexperience. Everyone on the immediate team seemed great. Then I met the CRO/CBO, who was specifically called out for being horrible to work with. In my 30 minutes with him, I can see why. One of the things he said was he and the CEO try to interview everyone, and he's very involved with sourcing and finding the right candidates. When you have 800 employees, shouldn't you trust your leaders to hire the right people so you can lead the business? I also get the sense they do not care about people, just how willing you are to pour your soul into the company. He described a leader who had empathy and cared about people as 'too chilled out'. I disagreed with him and expressed leaders should have empathy as much as drive. Be careful, ask questions and dig deep, don't get blinded by the valuation!

The interview process was good. Learned about the role and the company early on, and each round of interview was well-balanced. I was able to ask important questions and get answers about the company and role.

Tell us about a time you struggled with a project and explain how you overcame the struggles, as well as how the project turned out at the end?
I had an initial recruiter screen, as well as a hiring manager screen, and on the call with the hiring manager, he said that he wanted to move me forward in the process and that the recruiter would be in touch with me in the next day or two to schedule the next round. I never heard from the recruiter even after I reached out to him twice to follow up.
I can’t believe hiring teams are still ghosting candidates in this day and age. It’s incredibly unprofessional and reflects poorly on the company. Would not recommend interviewing here at all.

I was referred by a friend and had a typical recruiter screen. He wanted to move me forward to a hiring manager conversation that we scheduled. The hiring manager stood me up and never showed up for our scheduled interview…I emailed the recruiter to ask what happened and he, too, ghosted me. At this point in my career I have done countless interviews and never once have I ever been stood up for a schedule interview. Never until ClickUp. I think it’s extremely rude and unprofessional. HUGE red flag. I already had concerns going in after everything I’ve read online. This experience confirms it.
