The process was smooth sailing, with need to understand architecture and pipeline designs, ETL/ELT, failover management, big data tools, data warehouse. The process also requires a need to be familiar with the various data types that can be ingested in pipelines and the output data types that would cater to the business needs.

I've interviewed with a lot of companies over the last few weeks and CIX was by far the most human and thoughtful experience. It's a bit of an employers market out there currently - and with most employers, it shows, but not with CIX. Unfortunately I didn't get the role (I came close), but the process was smooth, informative and the interviews were honest and organic and I had the opportunity to meet with everyone relevant to the role which I think is very important.
